A representative from the Supreme Court of Lithuania was among the jury at the grand final of the THEMIS competition
On December 3–6, the judge of the Supreme Court of Lithuania Dalia Vasarienė, along with four legal experts from Belgium, Italy, Portugal, and Malta, served on the jury in the grand final of the THEMIS 2024 competition, held at the Italian School of Magistracy in Naples, Italy.
This year, three teams from France, two from Germany, and one each from Greece, Romania, and Spain participated in the THEMIS competition final. All eight teams prepared a written analysis of the legal situation and then participated in four debate sessions. The Romanian team won first place, followed by the German and Spanish teams in second and third places, respectively. The winners of the competition receive a prize – a week-long study visit funded by the European Judicial Training Network.
