Chairpersons of the Civil cases and Criminal cases divisions were appointed
On 10 November 2022 Chairpersons of the Civil cases and Criminal cases divisions of the Supreme Court of Lithuania were appointed. The presidents of the divisions of the Supreme Court of Lithuania are appointed by the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania on the recommendation of the President.
From 13 November 2022 judge Danguolė Bublienė will serve as the Chairperson of the Civil cases division. Also from 13 November 2022 judge Gabrielė Juodkaitė-Granskienė will be the Chairperson of the Criminal cases division.
In the absence of the permanent president of the Supreme Court of Lithuania, judge Gabrielė Juodkaitė-Granskienė will temporarily hold this position (in accordance with Article 105 of the Law on Courts, this position is held by the president of the division who has more seniority as a judge in this court).
