Three new judges will join the Supreme Court of Lithuania from January 2025
On the 17th of December, the Seimas appointed Arūnas Budrys, Irmantas Šulcas and Eglė Zemlytė as judges of the Supreme Court of Lithuania. E. Zemlytė will take up her duties as a judge at the Supreme Court on 14 January, while A. Budrys and I. Šulcas will take up their duties on 28 January.
A. Budrys has thirteen years of experience as a judge and is currently a judge of the Vilnius Regional Court. I. Šulcas has twelve years of experience as a judge and is currently a judge of the Court of Appeal of Lithuania. E. Zemlytė has twelve years of experience as an attorney and is a senior lecturer at the Department of Private Law of the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University.
With the newly appointed judges joining the Supreme Court of Lithuania, the Supreme Court will have 32 judges.
