The President of the Court D. Bublienė participated in the conference on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic
On 14-15th September, 2023, the President of the Supreme Court of Lithuania, Danguolė Bublienė, participated in the conference "Role of Supreme Courts in Ensuring Effective Legal Protection" held in Brno, Czech Republic, which was held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the independent Supreme Court of the Czech Republic.
President of the Supreme Court, D. Bublienė, congratulating the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic, said: "This is a significant anniversary for everyone who cares about the development and future of your nation and state. The effective functioning of the state, and therefore the harmonious life of the state, the trust of citizens in their state and the world's trust in the Czech Republic depend to a large extent on the successful work of the Czech Supreme Court."
The event was opened by the President of the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic Petr Angyalossy, the President of the Court of Justice of the European Union Koen Lenaerts, the President of the Supreme Court of the Netherlands Dineke de Groot, the President of the Supreme Court of Finland Tatu Leppänen and representatives of the Supreme Court and the Supreme Administrative Court of the Czech Republic gave speeches.
