The President of the Court participated in a webinar on third-party funding of litigation explored principles developed for litigation funding agreements
On the 21st of October, the President of the Supreme Court of Lithuania, Danguolė Bublienė, participated in the webinar organized by the European Law Institute (ELI). It discussed the principles adopted by the Council of ELI on the financing of litigation costs through third parties.
ELI principles are guidelines for courts, public authorities and market stakeholders to ensure that agreements with third parties on the financing of litigation costs are comprehensive, fair and in line with international legal standards and the public interest.
