The President of the Court presented the results of a European survey on the attractiveness of judicial careers for court staff
On 3-5 October, The President of the Supreme Court of Lithuania, Danguolė Bublienė, participated in the annual conference of the Network of the Presidents of the Supreme Judicial Courts of the European Union in Athens, Greece. Traditionally, this annual event brings together 35 Presidents of Supreme Courts to share their experiences and discuss issues of common interest.
This year's conference focused on the impact of European law on national law, as well as on the attractiveness of the legal profession and the courts as employers to court staff. The Supreme Court of Lithuania, together with the Supreme Courts of the Czech Republic and Slovenia, has been working on studies on the attractiveness of the judiciary. At the conference, the President of the Supreme Court of Lithuania, Danguolė Bublienė, presented the results of the study at the working session on “The Attractiveness of the Judiciary”.
